Academic Calendar
The Academic Calendars for Master's and Doctoral Programs are similar to the Undergraduate Academic Calendar, particularly concerning holidays and recess periods. The Graduate Studies Calendar suggested by PRPPG to the Programs is only indicative. Graduate Programs have the autonomy to adapt their calendars to their internal dynamics, which may include courses offered in a concentrated format or during months when there are no undergraduate classes. The Graduate Academic Calendar primarily pertains to courses and related activities. Since students' research involves work in libraries, laboratories, study rooms, and data collection in other spaces, work takes place throughout the entire year. It is common to have short breaks in July and January.
