About the Teaching Internship:
The teaching internship program is essentially a support system for teaching and monitoring activities in undergraduate and graduate courses, being mandatory for all students in the program. This requirement has been satisfactorily fulfilled. The monitoring program offers professional training to monitors, who participate in academic activities such as preparing exercise lists and classes, always under the supervision of a DMAT professor (not necessarily affiliated with the program). The courses preferably cover the last years of undergraduate studies and the beginning of the master's program. Both supervisors and students recognize the importance of the teaching internship for professional training. The results of this experience have been very positive. Generally, program alumni perform well in teaching proficiency exams in teaching competitions, demonstrating that the teaching internship is achieving its objectives.
