Gabriel Martins
Adjunct Professor
Department of Physics
Holds a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Physics from the Federal University of Espírito Santo (UFES), specializing in loop quantum gravity and topological theories. He earned his Ph.D. in Physics from the Institute of Physics of São Carlos - USP, where he worked on solitons, integrable theories in 2 dimensions, and non-perturbative aspects in gauge theories. He completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the Department of Mathematical Sciences at Durham University. Currently, he is an adjunct professor at the Federal University of Espírito Santo. His research interests include non-perturbative physics, gauge theories, and gravitation. He is also involved in physics education projects and outreach projects aimed at the dissemination, promotion, and popularization of science.
