Was a postdoctoral fellow at the Institute of Pure and Applied Mathematics (2013-2016). Holds a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from the Faculty of Sciences, University of Lisbon (2004), a Master's degree in Mathematics and Applications from the Instituto Superior Técnico (2008), and a Ph.D. in Mathematics from the University of California, Santa Cruz (2013). Has experience in Mathematics with emphasis on Geometry, Topology, and Dynamical Systems, focusing primarily on Symplectic Topology and Dynamics.
