Thiago Da Silva
Associate Professor
Department of Mathematics
PhD in Mathematics from ICMC/USP with a sandwich period at Northeastern University (Boston/USA). He develops research in the area of Algebra, with emphasis on Commutative Algebra and Algebraic Geometry, with applications to Singularity Theory. He works on the following topics: Lipschitz saturations of algebras; Lipschitz saturation of module bundles; Bi-Lipschitz equisingularity; The integral closure of ideals in toric varieties.
